sick engine lead the way
This will put a bummer to your day. After screwing around most of the day trying to get one of my engines working right on my p-38, I finally got the thing running. When she got up and the engines leaned out I heard that sound--cough... cough... silence--- on the same engine that I spent most of the day messing with. Needless to say I ended up flying on one engine and we all know what happened next............
........the snap.....
..............the spin........
and the sick engine lead the airplane to the gopher hole.
P.S. it was spectacular seeing the thing spinning on its way down

OUCH! A guy at our club had a similar plane that took him 4 years to build. On his 4th flight, he zigged when he should have zagged (he was inverted and pulled UP). The plane ended up looking like the one in that battery ad in Model Aviation.
Sorry to see such a nice plane like yours go down.
