How in the world did they manage that??? [X(] I guess one was in the midst of taking off, and the other was landing? Weird.

Actually, they were both landing. I remember the story when these pictures went through the forum a while back.

the high wing pilot cant see or hear the plane above him. The low wing pilot looks down and cant see the plane below him or hear it. So they collide. Its your blind spot. [X(]

The pilot of the 140 is named jay perrin a friend of mine from school up here in NY he went down to FIT for flight school and during the course of training he came in for a landing from the assined hight making calls the 152 pilot shot straight in no calls no approch and they locked up 140 gear in to the wing of 152.

There's got to be a better way to make a twin engine bi-plane.

This is the "dirtiest" airplane porno clip I have ever seen, I can just imagine the "gossip" if this had been a pair of 747's. MM

Supersparky is correct; I was at FIT when this happened. The amazing thing is the Warrior was flown back to Melbourne shortly afterward with only minor repair needed at Melbourne. It was a very good thing that no one was hurt.

Then its the Piper's fault because the lower aircraft has right of way, regardless of who was making calls and who wasn't.
