Hello, I just got the triton yesturday, so Im still learning how to use it. My first problem is that I want to discharge my nimh hummingbird(7cell, 600mah) batteries, then charge to see what their capacity is. But the triton will not discharge them. It starts the discharge, the fan comes on, then immediatly shuts off and goes to the delay before charge. Could anyone help me out? Thanks.

What the charger manufacturers don't tell you is that the charge lead is critical to the proper operation of the charger. Make sure your leads are as short as possible, using the thickest wire as is practical, and all the connections are well-secured (solder is shiny, crimps are tight).
It's always better to do a charge/discharge/charge cycle instead of a discharge/charge on a battery when you don't know what state of charge it is in. Your Triton may be working perfectly, and the Hummingbird pack may simply be discharged.

A friend of mine also had a problem with the triton but it involved charging lipos above 1.5amps. Switching to 18 guage charge leads made the triton work correctly in this situation. I know this is a different than your problem but I also believe this charger is sensitive to the length and guage of the charge leads.
