I can make a 3300 8sc cell pack at cheapbatterypacks.com, and I was wondering if that would fit on the XE 2.

A 3300 NIMH 8cell pack is the same price as for a 1700 8 cell at combatwings.com

Im thinking of getting a couple 2400 8cell packs, its really cheap. only 36 bucks.

What do yall think

Please tell me if the 8cell (SC) pack will fit the XE2, that would help alot.

Any one know if going with lipos is a good idea? How much better would it be?

What size pack is on there now?

I dont have the wing yet, but the normal battery is 4/5a 8cell flat.

I dont want lipos, im going to stick with NIMH for now.

So all im asking now is if a SC pack is going to fit in a XE2.

1.69 x 0.88 x 0.88 inch is the mesurements for each cell. (SC)

So the pack will be 1.5 inches longer. If anyone can mesure their XE2 to see if 1.5 inches longer is ok, that would be awesome.
