Default WILL THIS WORK???

My Grandson bought a EFLC3110 balancing charger and a EFLB1016 1200 ma 3cell Lipo. The connectors do not look like it is set up to work together. Seems like the cell should have extra wires and a plug for balance? Can anyone sed more light on this? thanks Capt,n

I found the battery here http://h1071118.hobbyshopnow.com/pro...?prod=EFLB1016 and the charger here http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=EFLC3110. What I didn't find is much info. My guess is the plug shown on the battery should plug into the charger some place. The directions should give some insight.

The plug I see in the picture looks like the balance tap and the bare wires are for the connector of your choice.

Sorry if I'm not much help but I don't have much to go on.

not really sure what is going on with the connectors on that one however. There should be a 3 conductor and a 2 conductor lead, the first one is for balancing and the second one is for discharging. that pack has some other setup. From what I can tell you're looking at a battery with 2 different 2 conductor leads, and I am not sure what that would be for.

You could also try looking at the packs at www.commonsenserc.com and looking at this charger

it's $16 bucks with shipping and is basically the same thing as the eflite charger, just better quality. It has better diodes in it, plus is has a power connection relay. It's also less money and charges at 800mA instead of 650mA

oh wait, you said you've already got them =P no idea, my thinking is on the same lines as yours. I would call up eflite and ask them what the connectors are for. If you find out, post back here if you would, I'd like to know what the heck is going on =)
