Default Why do I keep burning ECS???

I have put together the Super Airliner by E-Flite and flown several times. Problem is, the darn ESC units keep going out on me and I don't know why. I have had two burn out on me now... lucky I wasn't flying either time... just hooking up the connections to fly and then could smell them burn and then the motor won't run smooth. Is it possible that they are just getting too hot from flying over time? I have the 400BL motors, 25amp pro ESC (E-Flite) running from 2 2200 lipo's. I'm just wondering if the cause is from the ESC units not getting enough air flow over them and this is causing them to only get about eight flights on them before one seems to wear down. I hardley fly more than 75% throttle too. Why do I keep frying up the ESC units?

Have you checked to see exactly what the full throttle current draw is?

hi,
a silly question but are you running the packs 1 to each ESC ? or in parallel ? OR in series, that would be to many volts for the esc's ? might be a simple questions but ive found alot of problems are just MY OWN simple mistakes.

One battery pack per ESC and the draw is only 17.
