Hello!
I just got a new SR120 and I'm having problems with it spinning while hovering. I can get it off the ground and get it to hover, but it just spins around in circle - really fast! Everying appears to be working correctly (main blades are spinning, tail motor spins). I went through the control test and everying seems to work correctly. But, all it does is just spin around in a circle while in the air and so I can't control it.
Any ideas? I'm getting desperate and I'm on the verge of giving up on it!
Any help would be much appreciated!
Have you adjusted the rudder trim? If you are using the stock transmitter push the trim buttons until you have the rudder trim centered then try that. I think you mean the heli is spinning on its axis, or spinning around the main shaft. If the rudder trim does not make any change then either your tail motor is bad or the 5 in 1 board has a problem. If the heli is fairly new, call HH as they have a good customer service rating. But do check over the trims first.

Thank you so much for the reply.
I have centered all the trims and I still have the same problem. I can get it to hover (and even land) but it just spins in a circle (constantly). The tail moter looks like it is turning fine. I'll give HH a call.
Thanks again!
Sounds like the tail motor is not able to keep up, probably going bad or faulty. By adjusting the rudder trim you cannot stop the spinning? I that is the case you call to HH is necessary. Good luck...Good Flyin..

Fixed!
I couldn't figure out what the problem was so I took it up to my local hobby store (HobbyTown USA) and they fixed the problem.
Your not going to believe what the problem was. The tail rotor was on backwards! I've never taken that off so the first thing I thought was that it must have come that way from the factory. But, I was talking to my Dad and he said, "Yeah, that came off when we were flying it and I put it back on." He must have put it on backwards!
Now, I can finally learn how to fly this dang thing!
Thanks again for your help.
