Default E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO

I see that no one has made a PRO specific thread yet, so here it is.

Well, has anyone been able to buy a BCPP yet? Does it fly well? What do you think of it compared to the BCP?

My LHS doesn't have it in yet, but when they do I will tell you what I think.

Hello sox101

Check out www.hobby-sports.com
They have them instock
I'm interested as well, sounds like the goods, but past experience has made me weary!![]
So many of these RTF choppers are just a hand full and take ages to get them flying properly!!
even the little CX was all over the place and took a few mods to fix it, but in saying that they still wonder
all over the place because of the temperature affected 4in1's, I sincerly hope they have resolved that issue??
Cheers
Ralph

I bought one just today. Its my first heli. I bought a regular CP crash kit and put the flat bottom blades on. I also bought a second battery.

I just purchased a CP Pro. This is my first heli, so I purchase the training gear. It is definately a handfull but a lot of fun. I already had the receiver die on it but the local hobby store replaced it immediately. So far...I have had a lot of fun with it, but I am going to stick to flying giant planes. The heli will be a project for around the house to fly in the front yard. I also highly recommend the G90 gyro. It makes it much more stable in flight.

Question for anyone able to answer. The manual says to disable the gyro and the mixer when useing the G90, is this right, the G90 handles it all???

The G90 handles the gyro functions. I turned the gain all the way down on the 3 in 1 and let the g90 do the rest.

Thanks, but like I said the manual says to turn both down. So basically your saying that you turn down just the gyro or do you turn both pots down?

I am going to buy a BCPP soon and I found this sight [link=http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-E-Flite-Blade-CP-PRO-RTF-Micro-Helicopter-EXTRAS_W0QQitemZ250013158168QQihZ015QQcategoryZ256 3QQcmdZViewItem]http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-E-Flite-Blade-CP-PRO-RTF-Micro-Helicopter-EXTRAS_W0QQitemZ250013158168QQihZ015QQcategoryZ256 3QQcmdZViewItem[/link] and it costs $250 with free shipping and a free lipo battery. If anyone has seen a better deal please tell me.
Thanks

Seems fine to me, I'm not sure where they come up with that savings amount but maybe they're comparing to upgrading a regular CP to that level.

Why not just get it at a hobby shop? none around? Mine has a couple, though I bought the last cx recently. It probably won't include a second li-po but they'll be there for help and parts later on. My shop sells them for the same price, sans extra battery and keeps plenty of spare parts in stock. Remember, if you don't buy from your local hobby shop they might just not be there when you need them. Waiting a week or more for a little bity part they'd have had on hand for a dollar instead of a dollar plus $8 shipping is worth a lot.

Well...first of all retail is $249 american not $320 american... and it looks to me like they are trying to make a very normal BCPP package sound like an excellent deal.

I think they are including the free Lipo they include as retail price. So apparently the Lipo is $70.

I think I am going to sell my CPPro. I think I would rather stick to airplanes. If interested, I will sell for $300.00. This includes CPPro, carbon fiber blades, G90 Gyro, extra e-flite 800 mah lipo and training gear. buyer pays shipping...but it should not be too much. Heli was in minor crash...broke one of the original blades, so I installed the carbon blades. Heli flies awsome with g90 gyro installed. It is only 3 days old and I have the receipt from Hobby Town USA. I also have an extra tail rotor blade kit which I will include.

CPPro is 249.99
Carbon Fiber blades are $29.00
G90 Gyro is 87.99
Extra 800 mah lipo is 37.99.
Training gear is 9.99
Tail rotor blade kit 3.99

Just picked up a Futaba GY401 gyro for my CPP. I'll install it tonight and set it up with the 9Z Tx. We'll see how different it flies. Another thing I'm going to do is put Dean's 2 pin micro connectors on the CPP and the E Flite batteries. That way I can use my plane lipo packs, doubling (to a total of 4)the number of flight packs I have.

They should. The OEM CP flat bottom blades fit the CPP. So the replacement Plasti Blades for the CP should also fit the CPP.

Where are folks finding these plastic blades for the CP? I've looked and can't find any information about them, just the symetrical carbon fiber ones.

Thanks, just ordered a set. The durability as well as the added stability appeal to me. I am using Radd's method for learning so the most likely damage is from scrapping tips if I don't react fast enough or over react, so these are perfect. They'll give me a fraction of a second more, and reduce my over reactions that tiny bit, along with surviving when it isn't enough. I've already scuffed up my original set pretty well along with some minor dings.
