Default Cp Pro Problems!

First off when i got the CP it wouldn't take off unless you put the throttle stick about 7/8ths of the way up. That sounds a little abnormal to me but i didn't really take too much note of it. Then today (i got it yesterday) i went out flying. My back yard was a little windy but i learned in my living room how to basically fly it. So i went outside and i had a small table and iw as landing on it. So i crashed it once. Then when i was bending down the idle up switch flicked on and the heli went to full power and spun itself to death. The rear shart is cracked enough that i dont feel like flying it and risking it breaking. The thing vibrates like mad due in part to the fact that the main gear is wobeling when you power it up. So now that it doesnt really work i took it up to my LHS which has some pretty good people (i know them all personally, they gave me a job oppertunity next summer) but because it was a sunday they kinda had their second rate crew. I went to the helicopter section and asked the guy if he knew anything about the helicopter. He said yes, naturally, and proceded to show me how little he knew. First he pluged the battery in and didnt wait for it to inistalize he just kept moving the controls. I told him that he wasnt doing it right and in the end i had to forcable remove his hands from my controler and let the thing get booted up. Then he brough it up to full power to prove that my gear didnt work and to further mess up my tail motor and the strut. Then he started blabbering about the mythical ECU that i could control and it would solve all my problems. I think he ment ESC but last time i checked there was no way to minupliate the ESC inside the 3-1. At this time i was just pissed off and so i left to come back on tuesday (when the guy who knows thigns about helicopters is in). So, any idea on what parts to fix? I know the tail boom needs to be fixed but also what about the tail gear and the tail prop. That came off in the crash too and i think that there supposed to be gueld together. So, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Wingman1331

Well the best way is to buy a frame assembly. It comes with a frame, tail motor support, new boom and the wire to go from the 3 in 1 to the tail. Sounds like youll also need a new main shaft and gear. So far youre lookin at about 20 bucks.

The tail gear and prop dont get glued together although that sounds like a good way to keep them together in the event of a crash. Ill actually look into that. it may work. But theres a small piece of fuel tube that holds them on.

I would do the frame ,main shaft and boom 1st. Get all that back together and if theres any other issues post here again. But that stuff is a huge start and from the sounds of it thats exactally what youll need to get goin

Oh btw, I know you havent said your frame is broken but if your Boom is broken themn you may as well do the frame because they come as a set and its just easier than trying to get the boom out of the old frame. Then when you have time to screw around you can always fix up your old frame.

Actually it's quite easy to get the boom out of the frame! After you strip all the stuff from the frame, but the broken boom close to the frame. Get some acetone (hardware store) and soak the end of the frame containing the now cut off piece of boom. In about 10 minutes or so it will come loose. For about $4 or so you can buy some stock carbon fibre rod that is more than long enough to make a new boom. Now you have a spare frame for the next time. So yes, the quickest repair is get a new frame, and repair the old when you have some time.

What is the frame assembly? I was thinking of getting the belt driven thing if the main gear was bad because then i dont have to deal the the tail motor any more. What do you do with the open tail motor plug then? Any link on how to do the conversion?
