Default DX6 setup for Blade CP

I think I may have finally found some help in setting up the CP with the Spektrum Radio. http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t...guide+blade+cp

Im gonna read up on this before really attempting to switch over because it looks like it may take some time to do.Especially since the CP is the only heli Ive flown and not familiar at all with radio setup. Anyway theres the link and if anyone finds a better one plz post it here.

Psi,

thanks for posting that. Do you you have any info on the 'receiver hack' or how to make the physical electronics work? I have a std. BCP. With the Spektrum receiver, do I need to change to a 3n1 to get tail mix, gyro and motor?

btw: you got me inspired. working on my own paint job now. will post a pic when finished.

If you don't have an external gyro, then you will need the 3-in-1, and if your using the stock motors.

If you have a 4-in-1 then its possible to change it and put wires on the connections between the 3-in-1 and the reciever, you need to be good with a soldering iron to do this it requires soldering to the board, You can take the 4-in-1 apart and you'll see its just 2 halves connected by the 3rd and 4th channel. theres a block on the back of the 3-in-1 that needs to be removed so you can solder where it was.

If you have an esc for the main, and tail motors. And a gyro you don't need the 3-in-1, you just use revo mixing on the transmitter, unless you have a hh gyro, then you don't need any mixing.

Yah I actually changed my CP over by getting a 3 in 1 and 6ch RX . I bought the RX before I bought the Spektrum. Waste of money I guess now that Im gonna eventually switch radios.

That heli I bought for $40 actually had the 4 in 1 modified for a brushless setup. The guy I bought it from did it himself and did a real nice job of it. You wouldnt even know it wasnt factory.

If you ever fry your 4 in 1 its actually cheaper to buy a 3 in 1 and RX to replace it. It only cost me something like 65 bucks to switch to the Pro electronics.

Cant wait to see the newly painted pics. Im probably gonna repaint mine again just for the fun of doing it and for somethin new.
