Hey, I need some help. I had a little spill with my blade cx and had to replace the blades and the inner main shaft (the shaft the upper blades connect to) I put it all back together, i bought upgrade shaft that has the aluminum top piece where the stablizer mounts, and tried to hover, but every time the cx gets almost off the ground it tips forward and to the left. I've adjusted everything I can think to adjust except the motor trimmer. It hovered fine beforehand, i can't imagine that the motors need to be adjusted. Does anyone have any ideas on what i need to do? Thanks so much for any help you can give.

Did you maybe install one of the blades wrong?? Maybe an upper blade on the lower set or vice versa?? Its quite possible to do if youre in a hurry. You might also want to make sure everything on the head is connected properly. Just take a real close look at every little part you tinkered with and make sure its all installed properly, tightened down etc.

I too am having the same problems as buttonboy. I replaced my inner shaft, put all new blades on and it now flies all over the place (not in a good way). I've been able to adjust it a little bit but it's not perfect. I noticed, though, that the lower blades are not balanced correctly - when looking at the lower blades while at WOT they do that visual thing where you see two blades instead of one. Is there any way to adjust the lower blades so they are balanced?

Been so long since I had a CX I cant even remember if theres blade tracking or not. But you should ceck to see if your blades are seated properly .

Well, i figured it out. I had to adust the turnbuckles on the servos for the ailerons and the elevator. I guess the new blades are that much different. I kept twisting one turn at a time and then trying to hover, it kept getting a little better every turn. I finally got it all trimmed and it flies better than it did beforehand now. Patience is the key. I spent almost 4 hours tweaking until I got it right. But it's all good now!

Oh, and I had to adjust the turnbuckle on the stabilizer. And, If you replaced your upper blades, don't mix the old and new blades. They have numbers etched on a little circle close to the mount and if those numbers don't match on each blade it causes bad wobble.
