The inner shaft on my BCX seems to be slightly bent, seems to just cause a slight vibration so do I really need to change it out? I hate the idea of taking it apart as I have put the shaft tog.ether wrong before, and still dont fully understand how to get it back together correctly.

If it still flies OK and theres no real negative effects then just leave it like it is. Although Id change it if it was mine but only because Im anal about stuff like that.

The short answer is yes, you do. Why? Part of being a great heli pilot (IMHO) is having the discipline to not fly a heli unless it's in 100% flying condition. There is nothing more unsafe and unstable as a heli that's not balanced properly and performing as it should.
Do yourself a favor and consider it part of the learning process. Learn to enjoy working on your heli and LEARNING what it takes to make it work and perform optimally. One day I'll bet you'll be glad you did.

I agree, repairing after a crash is where the fun and learning really begins. Fix that heli. I have flown with a bent shaft and then replaced it with a straight shaft. It flies like night and day.
