"JR 7202 Syn PCM Micro/Mini Heli 3-DS285 R790
With Micro Servos and Micro PCM RX"
It came with three DS285's, here is the link to Helihobby, it's about halfway down the page. There are 2 versions, a Heli version and a Micro/Mini heli version.

I had my first mishap with my T-Rex today, I was hovering in my yard and I had a cat come up and it kept creeping in closer and closer to the heli.
I was getting concerned it would take a leap or something, plus I was almost at the end of the battery pack.
So I put in as much distance as I could away from it, and set down a bit hard.
I wound up breaking a tail rotor blade, Dang!
Oh well, it could a have been alot worse, it could have been a case of curiosity killed the cat.

Good job Harry. My (second) greatest fear concerning these things is that I'll kill someone's cat or dog with it. I've read some horror stories on these threads, and I've thought about it, and I've decided that I must be prepared to do the same thing you did--get some distance quickly and crashland if necessary. You might need to stop the rotor fast, the only way is to crash deliberately.
Having the plan beforehand might save me a few seconds. But I hope I never need to find out.
Again, good job.

When I'm home I scope out the street, no kids = safe to fly, (calm sport flying).
Kids pop up the Heli Lands, unless they are with their parents at a distance of 100' plus.
Then I stay low enough that I can dump it if I have to.

Heli_Harry,
I'm actually studying electrical engineering. It's pretty rough at times but I enjoy it. Now could I understand a lot of the electronics and all involved in our helis? Well, it would take a long time and maybe I might figure it out but I'm going to be going into something different. Anyway, just thought I would reply.

Cool,
I got interested in electronics as a kid building crystal radios etc, I've pretty much been in it ever since. 42 now.
I'm an IT Manager now (computer networks) but my first love has always been electronics & mechanics (equal aptitude in both fields)
Good luck!
