Default cp pro pinion.

i just went to my lhs to get a main gear, but they've ran out of eflight 9t. so they gave me a e-sky 8t. i'm very well aware that the 9t will give higher headspeed, which is good for me since i'm doing mild 3d. but i think the 8t will give me more power as in torque, which should help as well since my headspeed decays very much when coming out of manurvers. i do have a 9t from my original motor, should i pull the 8t off and put the 9t on? or should i leave it with 8t?

Of course you know about the bulletin that describes the varoius motor/pinion/battery combos for the BCP/BCPP.

I say if you already have the 8T pinion on why not try it....my guess is the loss of headspeed wont be worth the gained torque.

thx, even though that bulliten is also in the manual as now i read it. well, i just got impatient and tried it with the 8t. very unimpressive... very low headspeed, the motor will stall as normal. so i just anchored the old pinion out with a pair of needle nose pliers and put it on the new motor. now it runs fine. i'm just wondering now what'll happen if i put a 10t in there... i know it says that it'll shorten motor life, but i don't really care and i do have heat sink and the main 370's seems pretty tough to me.

It will fly but will shorten the motor life as well as heat up.

with a10T pinion and a LiPo you have a very good chance of frying your 3 in 1.....with a fuse though it might be worth the risk.....

hey i was wondering i just got a cp and it does seem very underpowered. now i have a 380 motor wich is a little bigger and definatly more powerfull. but i was wondering if the 3 in 1 would survive it?

probbly would not survive in a crash....if you install the motor add a fuse for sure.

anyone ever tried maybe a hotter 370 motor let's say 19 turn spec? i wonder how much current the stock esc's gonna take? i have a fuse installed right now. and i guess i'll just keep the 9t.
