Default CPP Tail boom measurement, please help me with a quick measure

Ok,
Need to replace tail boom on cp pro.
Wondering how much boom people are finding stuck into both ends?
Guess what I'm asking is , after the boom is inserted into the tail motor mount and main frame, what is the measurement that is left between the two.
Can some one please measure the remaining visible boom after both ends are inserted?
thanks

It is not critical

Just stick it in there but leave room for your wires to come out the slots.

I've even cut mine off short before when a crash snapped it off.

I usually make sure that is flushed all the way in when I replaced my tailboom. Btw I stop doing the wire insertion on the CP tail boom since I'm still learning how to hover and every now and then the blades hit the tailboom so I just tie the wire outside using twisties for easy replacement.
