I have a charger and balance pack for a venom ocean rescue heli ( As Shown). Can I use this charger and balancer to charge my stock CX2 batteries?

Can you take a pic of the jst connector (where the battery plugs in) on the charger? a good detail pic with the writing around the hole and where I can see how the connector fits in the hole would be great. I could help you out then.
BTW I am working on this... a post that covers all the balancing ends and all of the chargers. If you could take these pics of your charger, that would just add another charger to the post... I'm going to quote references for all the pics that come in... if you take the pic, let me know if I can use it if I site your name in the thread.
Thanks =)

Here is the pic the JST connecter. The only difference that I can see between this one and the stock CX2 balancer is the output is at .75A instead of .65A like the stock balancer.
Yes, you are welcome to use these pictures.

That's a perfect pic, just what I was looking for.
It does have the same polarity (they not only have to have the same connector, but the same polarity). It should work just fine if the battery you are charging is atleast 700mA. The stock battery for the CX2 is 800mA, so that should be fine.
I would make sure to treat the battery like it was going to blow up the first few times I charged it, and also note the temp during the charge. If it ever gets above 90F, stop the charge and wait for it to cool down. If it does that more than a time or two I wouldn't use the charger anymore. You shouldn't have a problem at all, but I'd rather tell someone to be too cautious than not cautious enough.
I still have yet to figure out why the CX2 charger has a 650mA charge rate on an 800mAh battery. It should be 800mA charge rate. Maybe it's just because it's a beginner heli, and they'd also rather err on the conservative side, especially with folks who are not used to lipo's and the dangers associated.

You can charge your 800 mah battery ay a rate of .80 amps, but like someone said earlier keep an eye on it. It sucks haveing a 800mah bat. with a charger that only charges at .65 amps. I use my astro flight 109 charger for my sons CX2 and charge at .80 amp.
