If You are flying around doing only right turns in a confined space, or the '0' talent manuever of spinning it quickly around and around to impress someone who doesn't fly, I could see how one motor could run a little hotter, other than that, I don't think it should be significant.

That got Me thinking; that may be another slight benefit of having a heatsink; as it may equilibrium or temper a motor running a little hotter than the other since they are sharing the heatsink, but I'm not sure on that.

Mine seem to run the same temperature, however I always wondered if the top blade motor ran "hotter" just cause it's pushing around a flybar with them there weights and such...? Just a thought to ponder are all so curious minds....

My stock E-Flite motors are usually within 5 degrees (F) of each other.

it could aslo be if you've got a bit of flight time on the motors it could be the one motor is failing. Alot of times when the motors fail they start getting hotter. if not you might also check to see if the innter shaft and the other parts are lubed up well enough with a teflon lube. That would be my advice anyways

[&o][sm=drowning.gif][sm=punching.gif][sm=wink_smile.gif]YA could be a bullet pierced my head also.
I just got this beauty and the beast, Blade cx2 I have spent enough money on blades alone to buy a(blade cp pro) and changed to all modified parts, advanced parts none brakable Changed every part except the motors and the 4x1 and signal pot, I kid you not...........[:@].
about 3 or 4 100 foot drops, and so many crashes i will not list them,I even had to climb a tree to get the monster down.
[>:],II have totally rebuilt this thing 5 times with new parts and back to stock part , cause i lost the ability to control it any more.
It just went sideways or straight forward and crashed.[>:]i just about bought the cp pro when i thought i would put all i mean ALL stock parts back on.
I GOT IT TO FLY last night, why is the 60,000 $ question?
What happened, here is what i changed.....Unbreakable, skids, unbreakable canopy, shaft outer, shaft inner and all related parts
Motified berings etc, the works like 5 times.
Tail boom, when i got done it looked like the cp but was still a cx.
then a light came on , duuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.
It was like the devil himself had me in his grip, This is very funny! Tha reson the motor was over heating was because the swash plate could not manuver cause the coller for the shaft came loose.

OH ok so fixed it and still crashed. When The the light bright in my mind came on, with the new skids it was totally unbalanced 2 ways.
Reason for crashes.
I think the chinese were told to make this heli very simple but fly very good or get shot at dawn.
The manufacturer who sold me the modified parts never sent but just standard minimal instructions for advanced parts
Was supposed to be able to fly in wind and if i broke skids they would give me 1 free, etc.
I saw video
But i didnt see the bullet. The skids were the culprit i never checked to see if the heli was balanced.
Hence, the no fly and crashing (hey 2 new complete stock bodies) NOT CHEAP...........
plus plus plus....
aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Thanks for your feed back fellas I cannot tell you all the mods cause it would take to long.
If you need unbreak able skids and crash resistant parts and fly in wind i can tell you.
If you want to know anything about the blade cx2 i can tell you.
I did not bother lubing it(what was the point) now i can lube it, they used grafite as the stock lube so what is the best lube ?
[8D]
Luger ,a little more crazy than before.
