I guess that depends upon your comfort level with fixing your existing Heli and your pocket book. I was in a similar situation several months ago and opted for a new Heli, but that was before I discovered RCU! If you want to repair, you already know that there are plenty of resources here to help you.

The clack of death!!! Know it well we do. Time for the flybar mod my friend.
See Soloboss guide http://cx2.r-2.nl/ as well as this thread that has some good coverage on doing the mod http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_63...tm.htm#6397033
Of course please see us for any questions
Missed the last part of your post. You will need a new battery tray. Your LHS should have one or online. Lots to be found.
If your battery tray isn't too busted up have a look at this thread to modify it vs. buying a new one.

oh its really busted
looks like i might go to the hobbyshop, im going to call them now see if they have anything for me

also no matter what i set the trim to i still get a little clockwise motion when in air i cannot stop it. adjusting the 4in1 counter clockwise will fix this correct?

Mod your flybar! That'll eliminate bladeclack almost completely and gives you better agility too!

Yes, just turn it in small increments (maybe 1/16th to 1/32nd of a turn at a time, unless you're WAY off), making sure to disconnect the battery before making the adjustment.
