I don't have a problem.

I fly, upgrade and spend money. Then I fly, crash and spend more money...No Problem.

Gotta go, so I can get to work early for a few flights.
Work...early? OK, maybe I do have a problem.

Here is a stroy and a picture of what happens when your addiction is to strong.

A week ago I was walking down my driveway gedtting my CP ready to fly. I was talking on my cell to my wife when I turned the radio on after I turned it on I was cradling it in my left arm as I plugged the battery into the CP. As I was trying to move the radio down to my left hand I bumpped the throttle up stick. Around and Around the blades started to go while I was still holding the CP by the boom. The next thing I knew the blades had hit the middle finger on my right hand, as I felt the pain shoot through my finger I couldn't get myself to toss the heli as I was afraid I would end up breaking something. When it was over the heli laid on the ground and part of my finger nail had been tore off by the blades.

I don't know how many times I have done that...and like you I always hesitate in throwing the heli. Luckily it's only been with my CX2 so no scars! I have finally learned to turn on the tx and set it down...then power up the bird. Same drill at the end of the flight....set tx down, unplug lipo, turn off tx. Took me a month to figure that out

Ouch. I had a similar incident where I was carrying both heli and transmitter in one arm and tried to open a door. Got myself some good cuts on the wrist there, and that was at about 1/3 throttle on a nearly empty battery. Really gave me some respect for how badly it would hurt a person if I clipped them at speed.

I'll call this SAVE THE FINGURE MOD. Right when I first got my heli I was always afraid of that, well afraid of damaging my copper so I did used rubber band to hold the stick down when I'm not flying and have never done a unwanted startup.

Slips on and off like a ......hehe.

My DX7 has a throttle-hold switch, which does the same .

(Not to brag, just a 'funny' remark ).
