Default C.F. OUTER SHAFT; Extended to kill 2 problems

Here's my latest heli with a 5mm extended Carbon Fiber Outer shaft and a 5mm extended Titanium shaft.

This let's Me use a standard and LIGHTER micro heli upper head instead of the extended 5mm XTREME head that is heavier.

The idea of XTREME'S 5mm extended head was to prevent blade/flybar strikes and it works beautifully! However, it is a bit heavier than a standard aluminum head. Extending both shafts let's Me accomplish the same thing without the added weight.

I dropped enough weight to install the Carbon Fiber/ Aluminum Main Body Frame New from Microheli; (Thanks Shane for telling Me about that) that I have coming. Then, install my invisible wired lights on the new frame.

Then this thing wil really Bling !

Thanks!

Gary

Very cool. You've taken it to another level. Nice. I was think of shorting my rods for a sleeker look [8D]. I couldn't fly hard but I think it would look nice.

Nice job Gary, very nice job. You really are pushing the envelope with this bird. Man I can hardly wait to see what you do with a Trex!
Please post pics with the new airframe, I gotta see that!

Looks bad *****. Right out of the A-Team. Slap a red pin strip and a black guy with lots of gold on, and you are ready!

seanreit, the CF shafts and Titanium rods are homemade. Heres a link that tells you how to make the CF Shaft and where to get Ti inner.

The micro heli aluminum upgrades include the swash, upper and lower head.
The XTREME flybar hub which is a repl. part for the lighted flybar (for My homemade c.f. flybar)
The XTREME upper bearing Cap (mushroom re-inforced; always fits true).
The XTREME upper and lower Grips, and foldable blades
The XTREME motors and Silver Brushes
The E-FLITE aluminum motor heatsink

ALL THE ABOVE CAN BE BOUGHT FROM USHOBBYSUPPLY.COM

The C.F. boom and the Unbreakable Skids are bought from BOOMTOWNHOBBIES online.
The Metal Flybar Weights are from DYNAM for their helis.
The C.F. tubing to make the homemade outer shaft and C.F. rod for the homemade flybar is from HORIZON HOBBY.
The Titanium rod to make the unbendable inner shaft is from SMALLPARTS.COM

Hope this helps.

Thanks, I want to put Our store Logo on it which is Gold and Silver.; The Pactra Lexan paint has Gold Fleck in it already.

Eatoomuchrice,

I wish You would make one a bit shorter; good for indoor flight and might provide better lift with the rotors closer, I don't know.
Let Us know, okay?

Shane,

Thanks for the kind words; Yea, I can't wait for the Microheli Frame. I know of a couple of areas that I can drop more weight; might lose the heatsink (I have the XTREMES and You can't see the heatsink anyway; that and it's blue!)

I wish they would anodize one black or silver. Maybe microheli will do that too.

She better not after what She got for Christmas ! ! (and Our Anniversary which was on the 30th)

I have enough Money in the Blue Diamond Earrings And Blue and White Diamond Cocktail Ring to buy 4 TREX'S ! !

And that's at My cost !

But that's good for Me, right?

Actually, I was playing catch up; I hadn't gotten Her anything real nice for a few years now, and She doesn't ask for much except appliances and such.

Hey gold I remember you said something in here about heatsinks. Well I found some that might match your heli.
