Left/Right has always been a tad different, but now I am setting it up with the dx6i left is INSANE and right is lolly lolly and loses altitude QUICK.
Is there a setting in the programming of the dx6i I am missing or is just the way it is?

I have done a rudder to throttle mixing on my DX7. Just set it to when you add rudder the transmitter will add more throttle. Just mess with the settings until you get a desirable mixing.

Sorry to be sooooo ignorant, but could you elaborate on this. I am VERY new and would appreciate exact details/settings or at least a 'safe' place to start.

This is what my settings look like.
[PROG.MIX6]
RUDD THRO
RATE: + 7%
+ 7%
SW:MIX
OFFSET: 0
I am not sure on how the menus look like on the DX6i but I hope that helped. I just found that 7% compensated enough without gaining or loosing altitude when using rudder.

I'll have to try the rudder - throttle mix tonight and see if I like it.

Brifly and evdreamer - care to post your settings on those two too? or at least a good spot to start?
I am just now starting to mess with the mixes and have to admit its a little confusing to me, but if you can point me to some safe numbers to start with I think I'll be able to tinker around and get it set up for me.
Thanks
Larry

ELEV THRO
RATE: + 2%
+ 2%
For ex) When I input elevator it will increase the throttle 2% in proportion to the amount of elevator. What ever is on the left (elevator) is what will affect the item on the right (Throttle). That is how I think of it. The top 2% is for the right stick up and the bottom 2% is for the right stick down for the elevator part and is similar to the other stick inputs. Hope that helped clearify things.
