Default Digital Servos for Blade CX2

Has anyone tried Spektrum's sub micro digital servos ? Also what is that plastic around the servos for? It is on my CX2's servos as well. Thanks Here is the link: http://www.rchover.com/inc/sdetail/122861

The plastic is to hold the case together. To save weight, there are no screws.

The SPM S60's will mount and work (they may need to be reversed).

I wouldn't expect much performance difference.... as the EFL S60's are also digital servos (The servos amps are different).
The travel of the servos maybe a little different. The SPM servos may be a little less if you don't reprogram them.

Also, be aware of the fact that the CX2 is setup with standard connecters, not micro JST's.

Have fun,
David

I wanted to try some digital servos on the CX also but I didn't want to cut off the end where the servo screws go to hold it on to the helicopter since the aileron servo doesn't have it on the bottom.
