Home Depot or any hardware store. Toolboxes or suit cases are probably going to be a lot cheaper then somthing you buy at a hobby place. It might need a little adjustment or cut up some foam to make your heli fit in nice.
I've seen a nice aluminum case at home depot for $20. Its in the toolbox section.........I think I'll buy one today

Why not just buy a heli tote from the hobby shop. It might be overkill for the tiny cx2 but atleast you'll have it down the road for any other heli you get.

I see a trip to Home Despot in my near future. It will be a big improvement over the paper lunch sack I use now.

(I bet yall think I'm kidding about the paper lunch sack)

Ah HA! found it : http://www.heli-tote.com/

Still, I think the tool case is the better idea.

I have to say that the paper lunch sack is rather steathly and when it sits in the floorboards of my jeep, it looks like anything except a nice expensive toy (hobby grade toy that is).

This is what I did and I am very happy with it. A couple of foam blocks hold the heli in place, one more for the Xmitter. It is deep enough that I can use the top tray for parts, and between that and the two lid compartments, it holds everything I need in one box. The bottom even has room for extra bodies. It is a Stanley 24" Series 2000 box. I got it at either Lowes or Home Depot.

Hi all,
As an Aussie who's just moved over here, I'm not familiar with all your stores. Where's the best place to get some foam for the inside of my metal case for my CX-2? I've got an old photography case that I want to use for my CX-2..

cheers,
Brett
