You can expect 10+ minutes on the stock battery. Other batteries might give you a couple more minutes. 15 is about tops

You can fly the cx2 until its just a little dot in the sky, much to far for you to have any idea which way it is facing and much to far away for any hope of bringing it back in one piece

I bought two more lipos for my cx2 from commonsenserc.com, they are the same battery as the stock but are half the price. For two battery's I paid $27.00 and that was with shipping. I suggest these battery's, you get the same flight time also. Good luck flying, one word of advice get the training gear when you buy the heli.

lipos should be charged, at most, at a 1C. So it will take about an hour to charge.

and as long as you are already into racing - there are some aftermarket parts, including a racing canopy and cg tail boom. the cx2 is actually quite zippy once you get into it and make a few mods. check out some of soloboss's threads. hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

First off you should start your own thread instead of hijacking this one, you will get more help. I am not sure why the tail servo did what it did. Has it done that since you took it out of the box? If so just another reason to support your LHS as they can help out with why. I have no idea why it would do that. With the tail all messed up like that why did you fly?
As for your crash, that is sweet! How did it throttle up inside? I would not throttle up a CP machine inside, they have too much head speed to be safe indoors.
You can fix your helicopter and it will fly like new. That appears to be about a $30 fix in parts. Could be more if you need a new gyro (gyro could be bad). Check your servos, likely they are all stripped. Push them through the motions with your hand and the power off, they should move smoothly, if it jumps or grinds the gears are shot and need replacing ($4 for gears).
Go to www.youtube.com and search for sokal11 he has lots of videos on how to set these back up.
If you don't have a LHS then www.rcslot.com has the best prices on parts.
