Hey Guys,
Ok so my friend brought me a bran new Blade CP still in the box. he wanted me to put it together haha but it was already assembled. so im gonna take it out and adjust it for him. he was a real Heli piolt (OH-58D's) but since wanted to get into RC. Anyways I was wondering if anyone had any good information on this Heli, I have a Falcon 3d and a Raptor 30. I know they have their own little minds. so with that in mind, is there anything to know ablout the blade CP that i need to check or keep an eye on. thanks in advance.

besides the fact that they are one of the hardest ccpm helis to fly, can't think of anything.
watch the tail motors as they tend to burn out fast. the landing gear is pretty flimsy and will break on a hard landing. get training gear.

WOW,
ok this thing is a POS.........
Got it to come online. Now i have more problems than before... lol
ok so if someone could help, just know Im glad i never bought this thing i like my electric falcon with a brushless motor and shaft driven tail.
Anyways
#1. doesent have enough power, or head speed to get off the ground but it has enough pitch(batt fully charged)
#2 The tail has plenty of power to overcome the main rotor, but the heli goes the other way because the rotor doesent have enough to counter the tail. (even if the tail motor is completly off)
#3 getting it to come online is a pain trim all the way down?? ***
#4 has some strange osscilations (spelling) from the tail.
I know why i paid so much for my Futaba 9C super
thanks for whatever you guys have. this is for a friend of mine so if we cant get this thing atleast able to hover ill have him buy something a tad bit better.

1. Do you have a CP or a CP+? Because my CPP had enough power with the stock motor to lift off the ground easily. If you had the original CP with the NiMh battery I can see it having some problems with the added weight of the battery. Try lowering the pitch also.
2. It sounds like you need to adjust the proportional pot. CCW to give more power to the main motor and less to the tail motor.
3. You need to have the throttle trim all the way down and the throttle at the 0 position or the 4in1 or 3in1 won't arm. Then you can add throttle trim if you wish.
4. If the tail looks like it is wagging then your gain is too high. Turn the gain pot. CCW a little at a time until it stops.

It must be the original. it has a NiHn battery.
2. Check will give it a turn
3. this is not a wagging. I have a GY401 on my Rappy and i know exactly what the wagging is. this is a semi circular ossiclation when you go full stick one direction th rotor tries to match the ossiclation. its weird. prehaps its because the torque from the rotor is not enough. Ill see if it still does it after i change this stuff. thanks for the fast response and the help.
One more thing. the controler on this thing, the Yaw is on the left, this is normal. the pitch/throtle is on the right stick??? the roll is on the right and the elevator is on the left. if i got all that right. is this a standard confi for this heli? the left stick auto centers on both axis and the right one only on the left/right axis weird....

Where did your friend get the CP? Because that transmitter configuration is for other countries besides the U.S. The US is the only country that I know of that has the rudder and throttle on the left stick and the cyclic on the right stick.
