RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
Hi, Mi name is Juan Carlos and I've been following this Great CP Pro forum some time before I bought my Blade CP Pro (one week ago), and I am very glad to hear (read) many experienced guys who share their experiences and know how. Thanks for it and keep up the good work. I fly Helis since 2000 (nitro tye) and I quit some time ago. But I am back and I decided to switch my flying skills from Mode 1 to Mode 2, it's been quite hard but I think I will get it soon.
I have many questions but I will start with one: Is there any SAB blades that fits the CP Pro?. Thanks. Juan Carlos |
RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
Ok, I just tried to dly it and damn, that things hard. It took me a while but i was kind of hovering.... but it was always going to the right or left. Then once i fixed that, it yawed the the left/right. And than once i thought i had fixed it, it just repeated it. So it was pretty difficult.... Could someone please give me some advise and tell me how to trim it properly. Thanks!

RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
Ok guys its tax season as you all know....I really want to spend my money wise. I want to know what upgrades i should do. My cp pro is pretty much stock. Im not sure weather to go brushless or just get a HH gyro, both are in the plans for my bird but i only want to do one right now. If any one can give me some opionions about each and point me in the right direction it would be helpfull cause im torn between the two right now.

RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
ok.....ive decided that im going brushless...my question is what brushless tail and esc should i get... i am getting the package for the main from helidirect.
|
RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
get the hh gyro and dd tail. once you go brushless you WILL need it, but if you upgrade the gyro and tail first, you don't need to upgrade the motor yet. what stage are you on right now? i'm doing inverted hovering and i still don't have a bl main... wish to get one though. but i'd say get the hh gyro first.

RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
Has anyone programed a 8103H for the BCPP?
|
RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
Well folks i did it today.....pulled the trigger big time!!!
Telebe HH gyro HDX Brushless conversion system Esky main gear combo GWS CN 12 3020 prop 4530 prop Heat sinks for tail motor GOTTA LOVE TAX SEASON!!!!! |
RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
Is it normal for the bcpp rotors to not respond until almost at 1/4 throttle?
If not, what should be adjusted? Also of note, it does not even get close to lift off until over 3/4 throttle. This is new out of the box with no adjustments. |
RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
I just got my 2200mAh lipo 15C continuous. It is 5g a little heavy but my new BL motor and ESC should lift it.:D
|
RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
johnckendall,
Do you have your throttle/colletive trim 1/2 way up or higher? orlbuzz |
RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
The throttle trim is all the way down

RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
i havent heard of anyone using that heavy of a battery commander bob.....let me know how it flies. What set up are you running for brushless?

RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
I have a sonix 25A cont. motor, 30A cont. 40A Burst ESC and 2200mAh battry 30A continuous (15c).
I don't use a canopy anymore. The little bar that it goes onto broke and I don't want to spend money on it.:D I fly over grass anyway, only in my backyard. With the BL motor I have (it is for a t-rex) the stock battries may burst. They can only provide 8A continous and I have a 25 A motor. I needed that large of battrie. If a t-rex can lift it with this motor why can't the blade? Also I bought the battry off e-bay for $42 GREAT PRICE! RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
sounds like your going to join the NASA program with the lift that thing will have....i assumed you had a regular size brushless for the blade, not a trex motor (all makes sense now). Post some video when you get that bird up.

RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
I have a Himax 2015 4100kv brushless motor from an air plane. Has any one used this on a CP pro and what pinion would I use?
|
RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
ive read about a lot of people using 4100kv motors and i think you should use an 8 tooth....anyone correct me if im wrong.
|
RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
The 370 brushless from E-flite (4100) comes with a 10 or a 12 tooth pinion. I am running with the 10 tooth and it works fine!

RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
Hello everyone, I am thinking about getting a BCPP. So I have a few questions, How does the stock charger work? What do I hook it up to? I didn't see any ac wall charder... Also are there any hop-ups or extra parts neccessary or almost neccessary to make one of these things fly right? Links would be great for the parts. Thanks.
|
RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
The stock balance charger does not come with a power supply! You either hook it up to a 12 volt DC battery or you go to your local hobby shop and buy one for 20 bucks> If you buy the CX2 you get the balance charger and the wall power supply--go figure!
Set up is everything and if you go back in this thread and read you will find a lot of useful info! I know it is lots of reading but if you are new and want the best training for set up--that is the best way! Also, if you are new, you might want to read RADD's introduction to roary flight school. Or just RADD'S! I hope I helped, Micahel ORIGINAL: RCKid1992 Hello everyone, I am thinking about getting a BCPP. So I have a few questions, How does the stock charger work? What do I hook it up to? RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
For the stock charges, I have 2. My dad had some extra 12V transformers that work great and were free! They are only 1A (e-flights are 1.5A) so they get hot but they work great.
I am still tring to figure out my motor... when I plug it in it vibrates and sometimes starts to spin. If I spin the shaft by hand it runs fine but it dosen't usually start on its own. I sent in my defected 3-n-1 a few weeks ago and I just recived a brand new 3-n-1 from horizon hobby free of charge! Go Horizon!!! Thanks, Justin |
RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
Thanks for the help, I have read thru the RADD instructions before and they seem like they would be a great flying guide to start the right way. So other than set-up I guess there arnt and other parts I really need....?
Thanks! |

RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
I finally got my AR6100 receiver for my heli.
Much easier to fit under the canopy than the AR7000 monster. (comparatively) I really enjoy having the ability to set up my pitch curve and throttle curves as well as some expo. I've now gotten so that if I don't try anything stupid, I can hover off as many packs as I can keep charged. I guess the next step is to look into forward flight and flying circuits. I guess it's time to start opening my wallet again now that I'm starting some new maneuvers. Karl |
RE: E-FLITE BLADE CP PRO
What transmitter are you using? The DX6 or DX7?
