If I put the antenna of my DSM2 RX into my foam fuselage( like put a small hole and then put the 2inch antenna in it), will it change the performance of my RX?

Foam, wood, and covering wont effect the receiver.

Why would you do that? The antenna is tuned to the frequency its operating on.

Not sure what you're trying to accomplish. I have DX recievers burried in 50cc gas planes and a giant electric helicopter with carbon frames, at the ranges we operate, unless you enclose it in carbon fiber or a lot of metal, you're not going to have any problems as long as you're using the proper reciever for the application.
