HELP...on extended connectors...HELP
Hi, I looking for control extended connectors 4 or 5 inches long. I don’t know what they are call.
It's very tight where the wires are located and that why I need extended connectors.
If you know where I can get them?
Below is the site for the wiring, but they have a three way connectors which I’m not looking for.
http://www.hobby-lobby.com/b_25_apac...35606_prd1.htm
The B-25 Apache Princess is no longer made
I have up loaded two pictures for you to look at.

These are normally just called "extensions" and are available in several lengths. Personally, I do not like to use extensions as each one provides two more points for possible failure and, over time, can build up corrosion or impedance which can degrade performance. If you can solder, just cut the wire in two and solder in the necessary length. Stagger the joints and insulate with some heat shrink material. Results are proper length and less expensive as you do not need to buy more connectors.

That's a Great idea about soldering them....but I just don't have the time as of now. I know the "extensions" are not made that well...but I will use them just for now.
Do you have a site I can purchase the "extensions"?
Thanks for your reply,
bobbart

OK...I will try the above sites for the extensions.
I wish I knew about soldering the wires before building the plane...but it's too late, the wings are glued and it would be very, very hard to solder them at this point.
OK...Thanks,
bobbart

bobart, something else you could consider, especially if you are going to be in the hobby for a while.
You can buy the "extension" ends (plugs and pins) and a roll of servo wire, and a pair of crimpers. Nothing to making an extension, and this way you can make em to the exact length you need. And if bought in bulk it ends up cheaper then buying pre-made extensions.
