I have just completed a multiplex twinjet and can only get about 4 metres(with antenna down) away before glitching starts.reciever is in the nose.antenna is well clear of everything and runs down the wing.jeti speed controller is 100mm behind reciever, opposite side to antenna.480 motors are fitted with all three capacitors(correctly).and the servo leads have 4 winds each through flux coils.
i am an experenced ic modeller of many years, all my soldering and connectors are perfect.
If anyone can suggest anything to help PLEASE DO !!!
i am at my wits end with this one !!!<font color=white style="background-color: 3E3E3E;">Text</font ft>

I dont know what kind of radio you are using in this, but I have seen this once or twice with this... If the radio is new try switching with other radios to see if it is the RX it may be the speed control also. The problem is in one of those two. I have seen this problem and the person that had the problem took the aircraft to the hobby shop he bought the equipment from and they ended up giving him a whole new radio system. They traced it back to the RX having some bad ports in it..

Do you get interference only with the motor running or with it off? If you're having trouble with the motor off it's probably not the ESC (although there might be something funny about the BEC if you're using it).
Try unplugging the ESC and just plugging in a receiver battery.

looks like you hit the nail on the head. With the bec controlled speed comtroller(jeti 350) disconected and standard receiver battery plugged in just working the wing sevos, the range is limitless. With the motors unplugged and the speed controller plugged in still the same problem,so it looks like dodgy bec voltage.
Many thanks for the advice, been invaluble.

Try to shorten up on the leads from the ESC to the motor(s) and get ESC closer to them and move the receiver away from the ESC as far as you can. Some ESC's are worse than others about emitting RF and I like to get some distance between the two.
