Default GWS ZERO WHIPPED!!!

Well, after many setups and frustrations the zero is slicing the air, it is a great flyer and very agile, flight times around 21 minutes and screaming along about 60 to 70 mph.
I had to modify her alot,
"CG" as found by others at 43 mm from the leading edge next to the root. New motor setup-running an AXI 2216/26 with a 10/8 prop -9.6 v 1100 mah ni/mh, no rudder, but now that it flies so well, rudder will be added. Not the original, it is poorly shaped and not very effective as it is. plane covered in light cloth and painted, stops it from dinging and cracking on some of these gear catching grass landings. Wing incidence is off quite abit, it was too positve for my liking, so it was reduced 6 degrees. 4.5 degrees rt. thust and 1.5 down. Anxious now to try the corsair since it is a short nose moment aircraft too and start off with it the same way this one ended up to make it a smooth flyer.

Hi!
Congrats to your Zero. I have two flying. One Oracovered one and a glassed one. The oracovered one has a droppable bomb.
Both are running a Typhoon Micro 15 on 8 KAN 1050's on APC 9x6 = ROCK AND ROLL! I had to cover/glass them because the high speed caused Zero #1 losing the wings in flight. Tore them apart in the center.

Alright, I just got in from flying at lunch, she's got everyone here at work wanting one now. Saw your pics, nice job!! I love the idea of the bomb drop. I haven't tried different props yet, today I was doing outside loops and flying inverted, no problem. But it doesn't hurt to try out other sizes and maybe pickup a few rpms of some other benefit.
Now thinking about Corsair, since it is a short nose momonet plane too, should be fun now I figured this one out.

Regards, Darrell
