Default Battery Problem Alert

We started having a problem with the Stryker cutting out. After, inspection we found the wire inside of the connection clip was not always making connection. We pulled the wire out spread the male connector, put in back in, and it was fine. When my son get's back we are going to check his ABX, it was also cutting out in flight. We're betting it's the same problem.

Those are the worst connectors ever. You would do yourself a big favour if you switched to a better connector like the Deans Micro.

I can't say enough good things about Astro Flight zero-loss connectors. We trust them on our $18,000 UAV helicopter. I should get paid for that endorsement.

I'll toss in a vote for Sermos connectors, also known as Anderson Power Poles. I don't think it really matters which of these three types mentioned you wind up getting; that depends on your budget, skill with a soldering iron, or what's available at your local shop. But replace the Tamiyas with SOMETHING ELSE. They were not meant for the sort of use/abuse that we (RC'ers) put connectors through. They WILL fail after repeated use, and in a way almost certain to cause a crash.
