Hi I'm newbie and I have
Watttage IC-15a Speed control and wattage crazy max powerset (370 motor, 3.67 gb/pro)
For batteries 6C 800mAH 5/4AAA NiMh
My goal is to put it on an 8 to 10 oz EPS flying wing
Hobbypeople.net recommends this setup.
The wires are huge on the speed controller- whats up with that?
I'm going for lighter here - the 370 has thin wires- is there a speed controller to match?
One servo plug comes out of the speed controller and gives receiver power- how does speed controller connect to recievers channel 3?
Are any diagrams availble that show this?

The speed controller servo plug goes into channel 3 and provides both power and throttle control. The power to the Rx can come into any one of the sockets.

Steve is correct on the throttle channel #3 according to your receiver, do not put it in the B/5.
On my Jeti 110, the yellow wires goes to motor-Receiver wire from ESC goes in #3 throttle on Rx-then +&- according to polarity. This is on the Hitec Micro 555 receiver now keep this in mind. Check polarity of servo wire into receiver too.

For the other part of your question - the ESC is good for 15 amps and has wires sized accordingly. Sounds like a lot of ESC for your application.
