Default Basic parts help

I am fairly new to the sport of electric airplanes and I am hooked. I bought basic kit and now need some additional parts , I have listed what the manufacturer says I need. I want to go brushless, keep the same weight or go lighter, and faster, what parts should I get and where should I look for them at?

1. Speed 400 direct drive eletric motor.

2. 2 servos - 9 gram max weight & a torque rating of no less that 11 ounces per square inch.

3. 15A micro Eletronic Speed Controller.

4. I currently have a Hitec Neon SS radio, where can I get just the receiver so I can use the same radio?

I CAN'T HELP YOU MUCH BUT SERVOS ARE RATED IN INCH OUNCE NOT OUNCES PER SQUARE INCH. IN. OZ. OR FT. LBS. FOR EXAMPLE ARE A MEASURE OF TORQUE. THE OTHER RATING IS THE SPEED THE SERVO MOVES TO FULL THROW FROM NEUTRAL AT A GIVEN VOLTAGE.
SORRY I CANT HELP YOU MORE THAN THAT GOOD LUCK

You seem to have enough internet knowlege to post a message here, so maybe you should try a Google search on things like "400 speed motor" or "micro servo"

Sites to try are Hobby Lobby, Tower Hobbies, Hitec, and other forums here at RCU, like "electric planes"

Check out the Balsa Products BP 21 brushless motor and the speed controller that goes with it. The one I have works very well. Not high quality but is reliable. Bluebird servos, BMS 306 work very well. This system will cover a lot of the more popular size planes. Have fun
