Default Mini IFO set up help

I have a fma mini 20 speed control and a motor that the tag got scratched some. What I can read is FAULHAB(more scratched) MOTOREN AND 16A: 11.8more scratched)
The prop measures about 9 1/2" and I have no idea of the pitch.
It flys fine but the motor quits gaining rpms at 1/2 thottle and doesn't seem to have enough umph to do much.
There is also a 9 cell 330ma nimh pack.
How do I set the speed control?
Anyone have clue as to what the motor is and why does it stop gaining rpms at 1/2 throttle?
Mike

Mike:

If you haven't checked, make sure the throttle trim is full open
when you plug in the battery and then run throttle stick to full
open and hold for a few seconds and see if prop glitches. This
should arm ESC to full range. My 85% mini has a 5amp ESC and
the GWS "A" lite-stick motor. I don't understand why you have
20 amps on it. If you have a computer radio, make sure that the
throttle program is at 100%

I got it used. The mini 20 is what was on it. I will check out the esc and trims. I think the prop is a 10/4.75. Seems like a lot to me.
Thanks Randy!!

Mike --- if the motor draws 20 amps, you may need more than 300 ma. Think of a larger battery just for a test.

Default RE: Mini IFO set up help

I am having a problem setting up the Mini IFO on my Spektrum DX7...I have the ailerons working correctly, but the elevator outputs are reversed (up is up on the stick, down is down onthe stick) Reversing the servos on the radio does not fix the problem, and have it setup as a delta wing. I am using 2 servos ....one plugged into the elevator and one in the aileron port in the reciever.

I know I am missing something stupid, please help, with what the correct DX7 setup should be to make it work properly
