E-Flite 40 amp ESC
using this with a 6 series bl and a RCD3500 receiver and a Hitec Focus 4 transmitter. Here is the problem. When i try to program it and get to step 11 which is "Move your throttle control back to the CENTER position. You will hear two beeps." It never beeps twice or even beeps at all. Its like there is no brake setup at all. Since it doesnt beep or anything i tried turning battery off after adjusting it even if it didnt beep and turning it off. Also tried turning it off after i set the lipo setting to on. Everything is fine until step 11. If i try to power up the esc/motor after all it does is constantly beep and wont arm the motor. Whats the problem? I tried it in the channel 8/B and on channel 3 and the exact same thing happens.

I have one of these and the programming all went per the instructions. If you have run through the setup process several times and still no results, I would recommend to contact Horizon and see what they say. If it is faulty they should just replace it.
I would just try the setup one last time, disconnect the battery from the ESC, turn on the radio, move the throttle stick to FULL, then plug in the battery to the ESC and you should re-enter the programming menu.

Check what you are doing when you hit step 12. You will either do 12 (if you want brake on) or 13 (if you want brake off) you wil NOT do both. Same with steps 9 and 10, you will choose one, not both.

Just make sure you have a fire extinguisher handy.
