Lipo on a standard speed controller?
I have a Great Planes Super Sportster EP. It comes with a brushed/geared motor, speed control and NiCad battery. I haven''t flown it yet, but considering upgrading the electrics. My first question is can I replace the stock battery with a 3c 800mah Lipo I purchased and use it with the stock motor and speed controller? I also purchased a 30 amp speed controller for a brushed motor, but haven''t purchased the motor yet. Any recommendations on upgrading the motor?

RE: Lipo on a standard speed controller?
That battery won't cut it. It's voltage is too high for the stock power setup, and its capacity is too low.
Any brushed "upgrade" is a step sideways. Even a cheap brushless will be an upgrade. Would you like some suggestions?
