Default Easy Star simulation

I have a friend with a daughter who wants to try Electric Rc. The Easy Star would work well in a local park. There is a Freeware simulator with this plane, has anybody tried it?

Would it work with my controller from Realflight?

If not is there a Realflight plane that flies similar to the Easy Star?

In the Knife Edge Swap pages, there is an Easy Star you can download to your Realflight. I have a Wild Hawk that is really underpowered and wish I had an Easy Star to fly. Oh well.

If you have a problem with that you can do to here and download FMS and tehy have an EasyStar as well http://www.rc-sim.de/

Personally as there's quite a bit of difference between a Sim and the real deal I try and get peopel to fly more advanced and more sensitive planes so that when it comes to the real think it seems easier and gives more think time.

The only problem with flying more responsive planes in the sim is that sometimes you want your plane to do something and you don't have time or altittude to pull it off with the real plane.

Except with a real plane you should never try a new stunt anywhere near the ground in the 1st place but should be at least double the height and then add a lot more than you think you need then when you know how the plane responds and how easy you find it to do you can start coming lower.
The 1st time I try anything new I go way way up high so that even I get it more wrong than I could possibly imagine I've still got plenty of time to sort it out and bear in mind a Sim is a great tool but it's not the real thing !!!!!

Good advice but my planes divide up into 2 categories. keepers and expendables. Unforunately some keepers meet their fate prematurely but the planes I refer to as beaters I use to practice things I wouldn't try with a more valuable plane. I enjoy flying low so at times you have problems.

I'm a little frustrated right now. My electric flying field was right at the end of my block. More than a double wide soccer field. It's now fenced off and much of it is becoming a performance hall for the high school's performing arts magnet. It was nice not having to spend gas or time to find a place to fly.
