I want to bind my e-flite cp pro 2 to my specktrum dx6i. Is there a cable needed? Any help is really accepted, never done this before. Thanks!

I don't know a thing about the Rx you mention. Is it 2.4? any Rx that can be bound should provide a bind plug with instructions. It's a simple task but I suspect you rx is not bindable.

Just bind the receiver in the CP Pro2 to the DX6i as you would any other model. Read the manual for the DX6i
You will need a bind plug for the receiver, then follow the directions[8D]

Once you have the bind plug in the rx, plug in your battery pack, making sure your transmitter is still off. You should see the light on the rx blinking fast. Then, hold the trainer switch on the transmitter, then turn it on (it should read bind on the display). Keep holding the trainer switch until the rx light stops blinking, then release the trainer switch.
You should now be bound to your heli. You will need to go to E-flite's website to find the proper swash settings, unless you know them already.
Good luck.
