What is out there in redundant receiver battery setups ? I need something that has an output that I can run in parallel into one channel on the receiver or that I could parallel the batteries at the input .
Thanks
Thanks

It doesn't have to be complicated. I've been using this simple setup for several years now. http://www.hangtimes.com/parallel_packs.html
There is also a large thread for those who wish to DIY a common cathode diode pair.
The issue with the Hangtimes configuration is that if a cell (or pack) shorts, it will likely bring downt the entire Rx bus voltage.
Using diode "isolation" will prevent this from happening and protect against both switch failures (open) and pack failures (shorted)
You can also use the dual diode configuration to combine a battery Rx pack in "parallel" with an ESC BEC output; thus if the battery fails the BEC takes over or if the BEC fails the battery takes over (depending on the voltage of the pack and ESC BEC output voltage)

Or you could try OPTIPOWER ULTRA Guard 430 COMBO, which is specifically designed to operate in an emergency situtation

Yea , and it has been working for me flawlessly ! It saved me from loosing my plane on one ocassion as one of the lipos powering the system had died... When I landed it had the red led flashing indicating a low voltage condition on that battery... Not bad for a $20 copy ....
