Default Thottle curse setting?

Yes; Throttle curve setting; How do you set it?
So far mine is quite linear but might to try some improvement by reading your experience...

Pippy, It's a Dualsky powered 2x2 Plane and a JR9FX2 Radio... 9 set-able points throttle curve.

I am using a JR. XG11 but I imagine that it would be similar to your one. The first question you need to answer is how much power you want for any given throttle setting based on stick movement. For example I like a reSonably high level of throttle in the first half of the stick movement so I set the middle setting output at 70%. This means that when I move the throttle stick to half way I get 70% throttle at the speed controller. At quarter throttle it gives output of 42%. At three quarters throttle my output is at 87%. And so on.
This means I like to have a higher percentage of my throttle response at the lower half of my throttle range. I hardly ever go to full throttle.
The curve you set is to do with the power delivery system you have and personal preference for the range at which it should be applied.
You may decide to add in more points on the curve to fine tune the power response. You decide this mainly on trial and error from flying.
I have the zero set to zero with the trim back so when I trim up the throttle idle is at appro 3/4 %.
I hope this is helpful.

I forgot to say I am using a YGE90 speed controller with a Brenner Sharp contra drive with NEU F3A motor.

Most E set ups will feel very weak at the low end at very jumpy on top. A quick set up, similar to Pippy, is 50% power at 25% stick and all other points linear. This will give you a very good starting point to adjust to your taste.

My throttle setup uses a curve that allows more power in the low and middle range. Motor is Neu F3a and ESC is Mezon 95 opt.

Hello Guille,
The simple thing to do is to adjust the curve so that the current you measure on the ground, with the desired prop, is linear and proportional to the stick position. That is, at 1/2 stick, the current should be 1/2 of the wide open throttle current. Of course at 1/4 and 3/4 stick the current should be 1/4 and 3/4 of the W.O.T. current. This produces a very linear power versus stick position.
Yes, you may adjust a little bit to suit your taste, or to make level flight cruise with a comfortable stick position (for you!).
Linear current versus stick is an excellent starting point.

Ciao,
Dean Pappas

It is not a good day in Maranello, today: Fernando is gone ... SIGH!
