Default Hacker side thrust

Hello all, my first Hacker with 20 x 13 APC driven pattern ship, is about to be build. What will you recommend as side thrust ?

2, 2,5 or 3 degrees ?

There is no magic answer for side thrust. It is dependant on the model, airspeed, etc. I would recommend you start with the kit anufacturers recommended thrusts (down and side) and adjust from there during test flights.

If you are designing your own plane, I would research what similar designs are using and start from that information.

Good luck with your project.

okay now, this thread is really coming alive

In the meantime I have found that despite the no magic it seems that most is working in the 2,5 degree range. Not 3, not 2, but 2,5
