Hi all
I have a Axi 5330 F3A / Spin 99 combo where I want to change the brake parameters. However , when I connect the Jeti Box I just get the message "Communication error". It has worked OK before so I think I connect things correctly.
Have any of you seen this error before ? Is the error in the ESC or the Jeti Box ?
I could of course buy another Jeti Box and check, but if someone out there knows this problem please reply...
BTW: The SPIN 99 otherwise works perfect (just no communication with the JETI box)
Regards

Hi,
Some times ago, I got "communication error" while servo testing. That was servo connector problem. I never got error in normal use.

You can also get ''connection error'' if the temperature of the box is cold. A friend used to put the box under his arm for a minute or so and then hook it up, worked fine after that. Something to try anyway...

Thanks a lot.
That confirms what I had suspected, because sometimes I have been able to get it out of the error mode by keeping it powered on and in my hands for a long time.
Yesterday, it was cold outside (6 degrees C)...
Strange problem but then hopefully it is the Jeti Box and not the ESC.

Hi again
I was out flying this afternoon, and when I put the Jeti box inside my clothes for a few minutes it suddenly came to life and connected to the ESC.
Obviously a temperature tolerance fault, but when I know how to get around it, it''s not a big problem
I managed to set the brake parameters and everything worked very well.
Thanks again.
