what's up with a plane called clever boy? anybody have one? arf patteren type elecrtic 35 " wingspan. there is a 10 degree right hand thrust in the beam mount built into the plane. this makes the plane fly crooked and throws the thrustline off, so the motor pulls it to one side................not good..............made in china crap again. all my other planes don't have or need this thrust off set. it's crap................so why does this one. it's not a mistake in building either. it was made this way....anybody know .......thanks..............RON

Ron ... eeerrrrr ... what is the point here? I mean if it really has a 10* side thrust as you state then why bother to buy it? I seen the plane as it was flown by my friend. Seems to fly ok. Also its been mentioned in other forums and it flies ok too.

the point is ............why have a ten degree thrust in a plane when nobody else does. it doesn't fly good at all. i have built and flown over 100 planes in my years and have heard of having side thrust even in gas motors...but whats so special about this one. if it flew ok i woudn't say anything or care if the motor was mounted sideways...............but it doesn't. under power it torques to the right like tries to roll over bad. if i want to roll i'll do it,as the plane should fly straight and level once trimmed out. it won't fly straight enough to let you trim it.........out comes the side thrust anyway. thanks for answering. i thought the same thing until i flew it ,almost crashing it beyond repair......................RON

if anybody reads this thread. just wanted to let them know,my plane had a much over powered brushless motor and no gearbox. the kit was sold that way,not my doing at all. this over power and over r.p.m. caused the plane to torque roll bad on take off.even at one quarter throttle smashing the plane before you could get control of it. bad combo they sell. don't buy this plane at east r/c in zebulon north carolina. or any place else that sells this combo. it was never designed for this configuration..............period................. ..RON
