Chris Moon @ F3AUNLIMITED ( same as UAL767) sell them Delro , but the paint and MonoKote were done by myslef and Larry. I'm sure Chris can hook you ,and I might be able to do something if you want.
Bill I'm looking forward flying it but to tell you the truth this is the best looking air frame I had. I told Larry it could almost become a Hanger Queen. NOT . Now I just have to instal motor and radio gear. [img][/img]

Jr,...
After flying Chis Moons last year I was really impressed with the plane,..really liked it! That flight with his Addiction convinced me to switch to EP power.

Bill the plane was easy to built, had some help from Larry. I did the painting and base white on wing gave Larry some ideal and he did the rest. Not bad team work for been 100 mile apart everything looks like he had the fuse over there too. Unfortunately I 'll have to put on the back burnner for a week or so. Pick up a Integral on Sunday. Hopefully I can refinish it and put gear in it. Get afew flight on it, use it for the first contest.I haven't touch a radio since the d2 champship. Way I figure it use Integral to learn how to fly again
. I still have about 12 inch on the ground and the local field is cover with the WHITE stuff cann't get it unless you have a 4x4 bi truck , one of the farmmer that flys with me up here call sunday and said he have to losk it on 4 wheel. Our local field is only about two hundred yards from main road. Sure wish I was down your way. I hear from Larry that BUff called him just let us know that they were out flying. Nice guys just rubbing it in.

Hi
I am in the last stages of completing my Delro Addiction. The manual says the CG should be @ 168 mm from the leading edge of the wing root.
This is approximately at the rear of the wing tube.
Is this what you have found to be the "correct" CG ?
I am asking this because I might have to modify the battery mount to achive this CG (I am using the heavy AXI 5330/F3A motor ...)
Regards
Oistein

Hi again
One more question regarding the setup of the Addiction.
I have mounted the motor so that the backplate of the spinner aligns perfectly with the front of the fuselage. This is how the thrust line should be set up according to the building instructions.
However, this seems to result in a slight "up thrust" ....
This might be correct, especially if the CG is located low, but I don't feel comfortable about this.
Can anyone who has flown and trimmed the Addiction comment on this ??
Regards Oistein

Hello Oistein,
Congratultions on buying such a great plane! I don't actually own an Addiction, but I do own an E-Motion and I would say that Chris Moon from [link=http://www.f3aunlimited.com/]F3AUnlimited.com[/link] would be the one to answer all your questions.
Hope that helps a little, and I hope you will post some pictures!

Oistein you'll be fine doing it that way. I just got back form the field and fleww mine for the first time today. I ahev the Axi 5330 for motor also. What you may to do is the fly it and see you may need to change the wings, by bring the tailing edge dowm from the marks on the fuse. I had to and my friend has the E-Motion had to do the same on both off his plane. As for the C.G. we started where it call for and work back some. we flew it with True R/C 10s 5000 and had to put the back off battrey about 1 inch beong the battery tray. I'll check some more for you and get back to you. Good Luck. By the way Yes it flys Great.
