Hi Todd. Will you be flyimh this with or without the T-cannilizer. I love how the plane looks but am just not a fan of how the T-cannilizer looks. Would it work well without one?

The De Ja Vu has finally taken flight. I put 3 flights on the plane today, 2 without the canalizer and 1 with the canalizer. I wasn't very happy with how the rudder has working without the canalizer on the plane. The right rudder wasn't holding the plane on the horizontal knife edge flight line; all the plane wanted to do was settle. But with left rudder there was no problem and rudder felt great. Put the canalizer on the plane, problem solved - the rudder works and feels the same both ways. Very happy with the plane, it should have a lot of potential.
The weight came in right at 4900g - which is amazing considering how huge the fuse is.
More later with some pics.

I went without the T-canGalizer on mine. I did go with the split rudder and SFG's and was able to get 5 flghts on it today. I am very happy with the plane
and the rudder on mine seems to be very effective. The plane is very true, Great job Matt and Chip.
here are some pis'c of it finished.
Thanks for all of the comments and the finish on the plane is the best I have seen. Thanks again Chip

Didn't take you long to get yours in the air there Todd. Glad to hear that you like the plane so far.
I'll agree that the rudder is very effective even without the canalizer, but with the canalizer it is even more effective in a positive way. It does not affect any of the mixing or create new mixing in any way. Some guys like the canalizer and some don't. So to each there own, I'm just glad to hear some positive feedback about the plane. Plus it is a good thing that CA is offering the plane with and without the canalizer just so that each customer is happy with their plane.

I was fortunate enough to be there for the first few flights of Todd's new De-Ja-Vu. This plane is gorgeous in the air and on the ground. There are many similarities between the Pass-port and this airplane although I truly believe Chip and Matt have one-upped the Pass-Port. If you like the Pass-Port, you're going to love the De-Ja-Vu. They have very similar styles in my opinion. The De-Ja-Vu presents very well in the air and the downlines of this aircraft are beautiful in presentation and speed. We had a decent quartering crosswind today and the plane, even in the second flight, was on rails. Matt is correct about the T-Can, some like it, some don't but either way, this plane is a winner.
The pictures are possibly a little deceiving as I took them with my iPhone. The foreground plane always looks larger but these two airplanes have very similar dimensions. It's cool to see the lines of these two awesome airplanes next to each other though. If you are considering the De-Ja-Vu, don't consider any longer....just get it!!

Thanks Arch got 3 more flights on it yesterday and I really do like it.
I am not sure on the price, hopefilly Chip or Marcelo can say. I would think it will be the same price as the other planes CA has just depends
on what option you go with.
