anyone have problem keeping the aerohawk in same altitude? i can't.. it keeper going up and down.. expecially.. when i use rudder to the right.. which the tail draw more power... then the helicopter drop down.. i guess due to the main motor losing power??? is this normal.. meaning i have to thorttle up as i turn? or just mine is screw??? hahahaa.. so hard to fly... still... can't stay in the air more then 6 second.. HELP....

I have a HB with a JR Quattro radio, it dose the same thing. If you have a radio that has clicks on the throttle this can interfear with a steady hover. There are mods you can make to your radio if you really find it a problem. As far as losing power to the main motor when giving more to the tail, well that just something you need to take into account when flying.

Theres nothing wrong with it - mines the same.

It's either heading for the ceiling at warp speed or then when I back the throttle off just one click its bouncing off the carpet.

I think the only way round it is by using a TX that has a programmable throttle ( just what I was told by a nitro heli flyer)

Still great fun though - mines kept me interested for months now, much more than my RC cars ever did

Programmable throttle refers to an adjustable throttle curve. All heli radios have this feature, also have pitch curves (for a collective pitch heli). The way it works is you set up an amount 0-100% for each of the 3 or 5 points. If you set it up linearly it works like your regular radio. You can however set it up so at the center of the stick movement it is much softer. Default settings are 0, 25, 50, 75 & 100%. If you set something like 0, 40, 50, 60 & 100% it will be less sensitive around center stick. It of course requires you to have a heli radio.

Regards,

Mike

Someone tried to remove the brasspart that causes the "clicking" on the throttle? Maybe it will be easier to control altitude when the throttle is stepless?

You have to compensate constantly with the throttle. I had trouble with this in the beginning but have learned to automatically compensate now.

But just one click on the throttle makes a hugh difference.. Anyone tried a stepless throttle for more accurate tuning?
(of course you still have to compensate constantly..)

You can't fly them or any helicopter with a ratchet on the throttle.
All Helicopter radios don't have them.
The throttle adjustments you need to make are to fine.
