It can be found here http://www.slkelectronics.com/lipodapter/index.htm
for those wondering about the lipo adapter, i been using it on my 3 cell 1200mah lipos for my micro heli's, its working perfectly, but it does not top off the batteries, i can use a normal NICAD charger plug it into the lipoadapter and then to the battery, once the battery reaches 12.60 volts the lipo adapter breaks the connection from the battery to the charger and the nicad charger begins to beep telling me "open circuit" which is what is supposed to happen with the lipoadapter, I have used a volt meter during charges just to be safe and make sure the adapter was doing as it said it would. and it was always within 1/100 of a volt from what the nicad charger display was reading..
Now since it just stops charging once a peak of 12.60 volts is reached, it doesnt do that last stage of slow charging to trickle in and top off the pack, however i have seen many debated threads about whether or not to top off lipo's, some say if you dont top them off they will last longer etc.
Anyways i like it, it will charge up to a 6s pack at 5 amps, the maker says hes being quite conservative with the 5 amp rating that it could probably charge at 10 amps with no problem.
Anyways so far with at least 10 charges i have had no issues and it has always read the cell count correctly ( for 3 cells) but allows you to change the cell count if it accidently reads them incorrectly.
I would recommend it to anyone who has plenty of nicad/nimh chargers, and is going to switch to lipo soon and doesnt want to waste all that money on a dedicated lipo charger.
Just remember you still set the nicad charger to a 1C charge rate for the lipo

I disagree with just about everything posted above me. Not looking to start a flame war here, but posts like these can burn down houses and cars. Lipo charging is a serious thing. I'd be leary about an "adapter" that can let me charge my batteries via my nimh or nicd charger...
If someone does want to use a device like this please do so, but be careful. Put the batteries in a metal container or something that will guard them against flames... Do them outside, and keep an eye on them as they charge.
I've seen video of what LiPo batteries can do when things go wrong and in a minute your bedroom / living room / car can be ablaze.
Quote from the webpage: "Our introductory prices include shipping and a good warranty"...
Are they going to replace your car or house if it goes up in flames? Good luck finding them if it does.

Hey no problem, your opinion is welcome, no lipo should ever burn down anyones house if they use proper precautions, they should all be in a fireproof container during charge with any kind of charger and they should be monitored.

I have a LipoDapter too and it's great. Works with my Astro 112D and SuperTurbo 250S. True it doesn't charge them completely but enough to fly them without a great loss in run time. Sure lipos are dangerous and I charge in a Pyrex pot and don't leave them unattended, but I believe this device is as safe and a lipo charger. It won't let the batteries overcharge. Of course you have to set the right charge rate on your nicad charger.

i'm with crash johnson on this one...lipos are no joke. why not just buy a dedicated lipo charger?? you can get a decent small lipo charger for only ~$50, which is only a few bucks more than "lipoadpater."

I have 2 dedicated lipo chargers, the 109 and the triton. The lipoadapter has worked fine, my first intention when i bought it is to try to use it like the FMS safeguard, but that will only do up to 4s lipo, this can do 6s, but since i had it i decided to test it with a nicad charger and some cheap lipo's like they stated you could use on their website,
foamaholic, you can somewhat top off a lipo with the lipoadapter, when the voltage at 1c rate charge almost reaches your designated cut off voltage, you reset the nicad charger to charge at 1/2 or 1/4 C
