Default Electronics not working

Hi,

I got my micron V2 but I can't get the electronics working at all

I use
Blue Arrow RX & 2 BA 2.5 Servos
GWS ESC + ESKY Gyro (Rear motor)
Blue Arrow ESC (Main motor)
my existing JR TX

I am on the same channel (52)

first question: which Swashplate setting do I need for a fix pitch heli?
when I try the servos on all 4 channels, I don't manage to recognize any channel. they are only moving and shaking around randomly.
so something is wrong but I don't have a clue what.

any ideas on where to start searching?
Perhaps you can save me the time of testing every part separately in my TRex.

thank you!
Marcel

I'm not sure what you mean by swashplate setting, but you will want to set it up as an aeroplane on your JR, and not a heli. This will just simplify all the setup. Hrm.. I was thinking that maybe you had the wrong type of receiver, but the blue arrow link that I found says it automatically detects the shift.... you need positive shift for a JR

I'm really not sure about the other stuff.... one thing is make sure the servo's are plugged in the right way.

here is something else I also found
This servo now uses signal-negative-positive "white-black-red" polarity that is compatible with new Blue Arrow, GWS, JMP and Wes-Technik receivers that use micro JST connectors for servo connection. It is not compatible with Cirrus Micro Joule or older (pre-July 2005) Blue Arrow receivers. To use these servos with Cirrus Micro Joule or older Blue Arrow receivers, you must swap the black and red wires.

If there are diretions that came with it... double check those and make sure you double check everything...

Sorry I can't really give you any good advice =(

its very strange.

the servos are shaking back and forth.
sometimes I have "coordinated" movements when I move the sticks in some directions. but this can not be linked to one channel as it happens when I do different movements.

hmmm ;-(

Hi mrasmm,

thank you for the suggestions. I just played a little more:

I think the receiver might be the problem. I only connected one ESC (to power the Rx) and one servo. I tried several ports for the servo. I could not link it to one stick movement. when moving one or both sticks in at least 2 axis, I could get the servo respond somehow.

one additional finding: it looks like the servo goes to its limit position all the time. the ESC was too hot to touch and also the servo became warm.

any suggestions?
or should I simply order an other Receiver?

I'm not really sure at all what to tell you. That is beyond what I know. Is there any way you can get an RMA for the stuff to send it back? I guess that receiver wasn't too expensive... Double check your ESC and make sure it is putting out 5v before you hook up a new Rx.

hopefully you can figure it out. Sorry I couldn't help more =)
