Hi
I have a problem with my tail motor. Recently i've just change a new tail motor as the old one had burn out. The problem which occurs now is the tail motor speed drops when i increased the throttle above 60% and it started to spin. It looks like there's not enough power on the tail rotor. Please advice on the matter. By the way, it's a mini dragonfly model from feda.
Thanks

You will need to check with a Multimeter to see if the voltage is going up as you throttle up. If it is then the problem may be with the motor. Another test you may want to try is only apply right rudder and see if the motor outputs more power or if the motor begins to drop in power the further you move the stick to the right.
Hope this is of help

I forgot to mention, make sure you haven't pushed the gear in too far, as mine was grinding on the washers on the 2 screws used to hold the motor on.
