can any body tell me how or where i can find the information to replace the main shaft on a esky hb cp2

Should be in your manual. I don't have one myself but on most helis I'd completely remove the head as one piece first. Just remove the bolt holding the main gear on, remove the links from the servos and pull the entire head out. From there you have to remove the jesus bolt then you can probably slide the rest of the head off.

unfortunatly there is no manual with this heli as it was second hand.

Not sure how good or bad the manual for that heli is, most are not translated very good from chinese to english but you should be able to download it from Esky site. I think this is the download page.http://www.twf-sz.com/english/download.asp
